In October, our Wellbeing, Inclusion & Belonging teams came together to recognise two important observances: Menopause Awareness Month and Black History Month.
Throughout the month, colleagues across the business took part in events, discussions, and learning opportunities designed to deepen understanding, share lived experiences and celebrate inclusion in all its forms.
As part of our ongoing commitment to employee wellbeing and inclusion, we dedicated time to highlighting the realities of menopause in the workplace.
Colleagues from across the business shared first-hand experiences of navigating menopause and the experience of supporting others through it. Their openness helped to shed light on the challenges and opportunities for understanding that menopause brings, both personally and professionally.
By sharing stories and practical advice, our teams encouraged everyone to feel confident discussing menopause and to foster a more compassionate and supportive environment for all.
Our Inclusion & Belonging SteerCo led this year’s Black History Month celebrations with a lively interactive quiz and live discussion.
The session explored key figures, moments, and movements in Black history helping to deepen understanding, spark conversation, and celebrate the achievements and contributions of Black communities across generations.
This event reminded us that inclusion is an ongoing journey one that requires awareness, reflection, and a commitment to learning from one another.
We’re proud of the collaboration between our Wellbeing, Inclusion & Belonging teams and grateful to all colleagues who took part in the events throughout October. Together, we’re building a workplace where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported and where open conversations continue to drive positive cultural change.
