A diverse workforce

At Macro, we are proud of our legacy of fair and equal employment for all, and we are determined to lead the charge toward a more inclusive and representative industry.

Our executive leaders, of whom 50% are female, sponsor executive committees around the company focused on employee equity and opportunity. They are responsible for ensuring we have and uphold the processes and procedures necessary to enable our commitment to EDI.

Social inclusion

Across our locations, we work alongside our clients to define an approach to community and local hiring based on their priorities. In many cases, this effort has resulted in a more diverse FM workforce and greater opportunities for local SMEs and underrepresented communities. Our suppliers undergo an induction process onto Macro managed sites that ensures our values of fairness and respect permeate our work environment.

Closing the gender pay gap

Macro’s 2025/26 Gender Pay Gap Report shows continued progress as the business builds forward momentum. With a reduced pay gap, a more balanced workforce, and women earning competitively at senior levels, the focus now turns to accelerating progression and strengthening the leadership pipeline.
