Macro Announces Charity Partners for 2025
LONDON, UK – 17 December 2024 – Macro, the global facilities management and workplace solutions company, today has announced its charity partnerships for the coming year.
The chosen charities represent each of the three principal regions in which Macro operates. They are: Feeding America (Americas), Tony Hudgell Foundation (Europe), and Dubai Cares (Middle East).
The charities were selected via several rounds of voting from employees across the globe. Together, the charities serve children and disadvantaged young persons, which was selected by employees as the focus for 2025.
The charity partnerships are Macro’s first since becoming an independent, standalone FM business, following a management buyout from the Mace Group in November 2023. Through these charity partnerships, Macro will tailor its efforts regionally and design volunteering, fundraising and other activities that make best use of its employees’ talents and time.
Macro CEO Ross Abbate said: “Partnering with charities is a vital part of Macro’s commitment to creating everlasting impact. We look forward to supporting these charities by channelling our resources toward their important causes, giving them greater certainty for the year, and helping to amplify the impact they have on our communities.”
Feeding America supports families and children through meal-related programming and foodbanks, many of which are located in cities where Macro operates. www.feedingamerica.org
The Tony Hudgell Foundation enhances the lives of children affected by physical, emotional or psychological abuse. Based in the UK, it provides fundraising and events, and offers grants to other charities to support children across Europe. www.tonyhudgellfoundation.org
Dubai Cares works across MENA and internationally to support children via youth education programs, skills development and health initiatives. www.dubaicares.ae
