Tell me about yourself and your current role.

I am Mohammadsaif Abdulgani Jinabade. I am originally from Kudachi, a town in the state of Karnataka, India, and I completed my education in Maharashtra. My background reflects a blend of cultural richness and academic experience across two states.                      

I joined Macro two years ago as an Accounts Payable Administrator. In my role I oversee all activities within the AP department, including vendor management, payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.

Describe a typical day in your work life.

A typical day involves managing all Accounts Payable activities, processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and resolving discrepancies. I focus on accuracy and efficiency while collaborating with my team and leadership to keep operations running smoothly.

How do you deal with pressure or stressful situations?

I remind myself of the challenges I’ve overcome and stay grateful for the opportunities I have. My faith keeps me calm and focused, helping me tackle stressful situations with patience and resilience.

Who have been your strongest influences in life?

My strongest influences are my parents and my grandparents. My father, a farmer, worked tirelessly to provide for us, often facing tough challenges with determination and strength, while my mother lovingly cared for our home. Their hard work and sacrifices, along with the values passed down by my grandparents, have deeply shaped who I am today.

What led you to your current career path?

The pandemic gave me an unexpected opportunity to join a reputable organisation in India while studying for my MBA, leading me to a career in Accounts Payable.

What are you most proud of accomplishing?

I’m proud of how I’ve turned challenges into growth, learning from each experience and becoming stronger both personally and professionally.

What are the most important life lessons you’ve learned?

The most important life lessons I’ve learned are resilience, hard work, and the importance of staying grounded through challenges - values that have shaped who I am and how I approach life.

Having faced struggles myself, I’m motivated daily by gratitude and perspective, my faith, and the struggles I’ve overcome. I know the impact even small kindness can have. This drives me to appreciate life and help others whenever I can.
