Publish date: Friday 23 October
Macro has been Highly Commended in the Inclusive Company Award at the Women in Safety & Health Awards 2026 (WISH), recognising the organisation's continued commitment to Inclusion & Belonging.
The result was announced at the WISH Awards gala dinner at the Mercure London Earls Court on 15 October 2026. Macro was one of five finalists in the category.
Organised by Health & Safety Matters, the UK's leading OSH publication, the WISH Awards celebrate the achievements of women in health and safety and aim to increase diversity across the industry.

Recognition for an inclusive culture
The Highly Commended result reflects how Macro has embedded Inclusion & Belonging (I&B) into its people strategy and everyday culture.
At the heart of this work is Macro's global I&B Steering Committee. It brings together colleagues from the UK, Europe, the Americas and MENA, so that different experiences and perspectives shape initiatives across the business.
Alongside the company shortlisting, Lynda Martin was also shortlisted for the Mental Health and Wellbeing Advocate Award, recognising her contribution to developing and strengthening Macro’s approach to colleague wellbeing.
"Being Highly Commended at the Women in Safety & Health Awards is a proud moment for everyone at Macro. It recognises the work our colleagues do every day to create an environment where people feel valued, supported and able to be themselves. Inclusion and psychological safety go hand in hand with a strong safety culture, and this recognition encourages us to keep listening, learning and improving."
Peter Tayar-Watson, QHSEW Director at Macro
Macro would like to thank Health & Safety Matters and the judging panel, congratulate the winners and fellow finalists, and thank the colleagues across the business whose engagement made this recognition possible.
